Greetings from the 3, 840 square kilometre Murchison Falls National Park. It’s a beautiful part of the Nile where the river forces its way through a 7 metre gap in the rocks and tumbles 40 metres down to continue its course through one of the most wonderful wildlife areas in Africa.

Fortunately the elephants are back having slowly recovered from the brutal slaughter they suffered during the civil wars, when they were used as moving targets by the milirary.

Loaded with life saving mosquito nets and Rite to Sight spectacles, the United Against Malaria expedition boat party bids farewell to the Land Rover team – we plan to meet up again at Nimule on the Uganda / Sudan border – all is well.
